How does it work? Format description
There are 3 opinion leaders (max 5) on stage who start by introducing themselves and their position (opening argument).
The moderator asks 5-7 questions, which are different:
- a question of justification – why, how;
- quick round for fact-checking – a, b, c;
- case/story solving question;
- audience questions.
Contestants answer questions in turn. There may be so-called rounds for different questions.
What do the participants in the discussion do?
The audience can ask questions to the contestants, the moderator gives the floor. The audience can also express their sympathy or opinion by voting (e.g. mentimeter, sli.do). Voting could be done before and after the game show to see how it is divided. Finally, there could be closing remarks from the contestants or audience comments.
If there are invited speakers in the discussion, what do they do?
The contestants are experts or opinion leaders in their field who so to speak, compete and answer prepared questions. At the beginning, they can introduce themselves and their position, and at the end there is an opportunity for closing remarks.
What is the role and profile of the moderator?
The moderator must prepare questions before the game show that the contestants will answer, and in addition, it is necessary to prepare the involvement of participants, e.g. voting methods (e.g. mentimeter).
Number and profile of participants in the discussion?
The number of participants is not limited. Participants do not need to have prior knowledge, because by following the game, this knowledge can also be obtained.
